Your companions are welcome in our charming bar and designated outdoor spaces, where they can enjoy the fresh air alongside you. However, please note that dogs are not permitted in the restaurant.
For the comfort of all our guests, we kindly ask that dogs stay on a lead in public areas and remain with their owners at all times. To maintain a peaceful atmosphere, we appreciate your cooperation in ensuring that your dogs are well-behaved and clean, helping to minimise any disruptions.

Your furry friends are invited to enjoy designated areas of the hotel including our country bar, where they can relax at your feet while you savour your meal.
They’re also free to roam our scenic grounds, just be sure to tidy up any messes. For the comfort of all guests, we kindly ask that dogs remain with their owners and on a lead in public areas during their stay.
House Etiquette for Our Dog Guests:
- All dogs should be well-behaved and kept on a lead while inside the hotel and when exploring the grounds.
- Please towel off any wet or muddy dogs before they enter the hotel (towels are available if needed).
- For the comfort of all our guests dogs are not permitted on any furniture.
- Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs and ensuring their pets are respectful to fellow guests.
Designated Dog Friendly Hotel Rooms:
At Gorse Hill Hotel we believe that every member of the family should enjoy a delightful stay, including your pooch!
Our designated dog-friendly rooms are situated in the charming Lodge which is located a short distance from our mansion house.
These rooms must be booked directly through our welcoming reception team, as they are not available for online reservations.
We kindly ask that dogs stay off the beds and are not left alone in the rooms to ensure a comfortable stay for all guests.
An additional charge of £20 per day applies for each dog, allowing them to indulge in all the comforts our hotel has to offer during your stay.
